  • You will have the option to work with an advocate, a member of the community who understands LGBTQ+ culture and how trauma may be affecting you as a result of your experiences.  This person will be prepared to guide and support you through the reporting process and can help connect you to LGBTQ+ supportive services as may be needed. The organization or person that I am complaining about is:

  • Duluth City Code Section 34-43 provides only that conversion therapy not be provided to a minor. 

  • The city’s human rights office works with a wide range of community organizations that can provide emergency support and services such as mental health counseling for those in crisis. Please describe the type of resources you need and we will contact you as soon as possible.

  • **Information you provide is subject to the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act. You are not required to provide any of the information we ask for; however, if you choose not to provide information, we may not be able to investigate. The information you provide will be kept confidential while we investigate, but it may be shared with others when doing so is necessary for us to investigate. Once an investigation is inactive, information may be available to the public on request, unless otherwise protected by the Minnesota Whistleblower Act.
